Delete your Mortgage Buddy account

Mortgage Buddy works without an account. This page only applies if you signed in to the optional cloud backup.

In the app (immediate)

Open Mortgage Buddy and tap the menu (☰) at the top right.
Under Account, tap Delete account, then tap again to confirm.

This permanently deletes your profile, your cloud backup and your sign-in account straight away. The details on your phone are not deleted; remove them with “Reset to defaults” or by uninstalling the app.

By email (if you no longer have the app)

Email shiripat06@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my Mortgage Buddy account”. We will delete your profile, backup and sign-in account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your backup: all mortgage details you saved, such as amounts, rates, extra and one-off payments, and interest-only periods.
Your profile: name, country, and date of birth and phone number if you added them.
Your sign-in account: email address and password.

No copies are kept, apart from encrypted service backups that are automatically overwritten within 7 days.
